Wildscreen - Wild Photos
Promoting conservation through wildlife imagery
Wildscreen's principal initiatives are the Wildscreen Festival, the world's largest and most prestigious wildlife and environmental film festival and ARKive, a centralised collection of films and photographs of endangered species from around the globe, freely accessible online. We also deliver WildPhotos, an annual nature photography symposium and WildFilmHistory an online guide to the pioneering people and landmark productions behind on hundred years of wildlife filmmaking. Our registered charity number is 299450.
We are keen to spread the word about WildPhotos now that delegate registration has been launched, and I wondered whether it may be of interest to your photographic union members?
This two-day event, hosted by Chris Packham, has a sensational line-up of international nature photographers including Daniel Beltra, Niall Benvie, Vincent Munier, Solvin Zankl, Kevin Schafer and a keynote presentation from the world-renowned National Geographic photographer, Michael 'Nick' Nichols. Also presenting their work will be winners from this year’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, the results of which will be announced immediately before WildPhotos. The exhibition is open from 9 am to 3 pm and will mainly feature Manx scenes, in the spirit of the Homecomers’ Tent, which acts as a base and resource centre for Manx people and people with Manx ancestry who return to the island from all over the world to celebrate the National holiday.
