They can be freely downloaded but you will need the password, sent in the weekly email to club secretaries, to open them. Please see that all your delegates have a copy of them when attending the meeting. Further information will be posted here as we near the date. In case of difficulties please email the webmaster.

*Please note that copies of the Exec Reports downloaded before 15:20 on 16th January have a small error regarding the venue of the Knock Out which has been corrected to "thanks to North Cheshire PS for their hospitality".
The L&CPU
The Lancashire & Cheshire Photographic Union was formed on the 9th October 1905, and at the time was the largest organisation of photographic societies in the world.
Today there are 96 Societies in the Union with a total membership of just under 4,000 photographers.
The Objectives
The objects of the Union shall be to foster and encourage the advancement of the science and practice of
the art of photography, to provide means for such to federated societies and to provide means for the mutual
benefit and protection of federated societies and to form a link between them and the Photographic Alliance
of Great Britain.
The Union further shall: -
a. Arrange for the circulation of photographic portfolios to its member societies.
b. Organise or join in organising photographic competitions, exhibitions and meetings.
c. Present Awards and / or Certificates of Merit when appropriate.
d. Maintain a panel of judges for competitions and exhibitions.
e. Maintain a panel of lecturers.

Report - January 2012 Meeting: Business regarding AGM, Big Day, Judging Seminar, AV Competition, Print and PDI Challenges, Annual, KO (all dates etc now on website). Possible problem with Exhibition at Burnley. PAGB AV APM now for AV Production - survey of same. FIAP rule - all PDI comps to be viewed simultaneously and as projected images not TV. Progress with Archive. Clubs requesting guidance on plagiarism. PAGB comps now to include NH section etc.

This is the intended first home of all matters relating to the L&CPU Archive. .
Work is taking place on digitising the Archive and uploading it onto the website. This will be a long-term project but will provide a very valuable resource of great use and interest. (21st November 2010)
